We like to try something different so this year we planted a potato patch which we opened on selected dates in August. If you missed the big dig and Mr Potato Head party don't worry. Keep an eye on our Social Media for updates for 2023. Or get in touch if you would like to buy some farm fresh potatoes.

Head on down to Powells Farm Wales and dig your very own potatoes just a few miles from home.

The kids will love learning where potatoes come from and searching for the buried "treasures" in the ground.

Included is the Powells Farm Experience where you can meet the animals, play, take part in the potato trail and there will be lots of photo opportunities. Come and join us to make some great memories for

Meet the animals

We've got loads of animals you can meet down on the farm. The rabbits and guinea pig, Pygmy goats Pumpkin and Patch who love to get brushed and taken for a walk, Dixey the donkey. Spirit and Merlyn the ponies, the rare breed Jacob sheep and our gorgeous rare breed Oxford Sandy and Black pigs Star and Lightening who have recently had piglets. We hope to have some chicks hatching in August too (fingers crossed).
