Terms and Conditions
We are mindful of the changeable nature of current Government restrictions due to COVID 19. We are currently monitoring the situation and should restrictions impact on your booking we will offer an alternative pumpkin collection service or transfer your booking to the 2021 pumpkin picking season. Please follow our Facebook page @Powellsfarmwales and check there for updates relating to bookings.
Please read the information below and visit our website to read our Frequently Asked Questions for important information before you visit the farm.
Please note this ticket is for a one hour pumpkin picking slot for one COVID 19 compliant group only, travelling in the same car up to a maximum of 5 people. No minibuses or coaches allowed. The cost of the ticket covers admission to the farm only, and then you pay for the pumpkins that you pick. Car parking is free.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT
Please wear footwear suitable for the outdoors as we have stone tracks and it could be wet and muddy in the field and wrap up warm. Please bring your own PPE where required. Remember to bring a big strong bag to take your pumpkins home in (they are heavy) and a bag for any wet or muddy footwear and clothing. We recommend an all terrain pushchair or baby carrier for babies / toddlers. The pumpkins will all be cut off the vines before your visit, you must not bring any sharp objects onto the farm.
You must not visit the farm if you or anyone in your household has any Covid-19 symptoms, is feeling unwell or should be in isolation. Stay in your car group and do not mix with any other car or household groups. Please park 2m away from other cars.
IN THE PUMPKIN PATCH:
All visitors are asked to sanitise their hands before entering the pumpkin patch. You must maintain a minimum of 2 meters space between yourself and anyone not from your group whilst at Powell's Farm Wales, this includes Powell's Farm Wales staff.
We will have a one-way system to get to the pumpkin patch and you will be allocated an area of the pumpkin patch to pick from during your session. You must pick from this patch only. Please only touch the pumpkins you intend to purchase.
Staff will be on hand to help make sure people know where to go for their picking. Children must be supervised at all times and we will not tolerate anti-social behaviour. Anyone causing damages to the pumpkins, animals or property of Powells Farm Wales will be asked to leave immediately.
Each pumpkin picking session will last 1 hour but once you have chosen your pumpkins you are free to leave the pumpkin patch by following the one-way system to staff who will collect payment via contactless card or cash. Remember to take a walk up to the giant orange letters and have your photo taken by the ancient Castle Mottee. There will be plenty of photo opportunities.
Please use the hand sanitiser station when leaving the farm and before getting back into your car.
We strongly advise that no pumpkins are eaten until you have been able to wash them at home.
Dogs are not allowed except assistance dogs.
Pre-booked admission tickets are non-refundable and are only valid for the session they have been booked for. If you let us know you are not able to attend your pre-booked session two weeks in advance of the session, we can try and transfer your booking to an alternative session subject to availability.
Please email two weeks BEFORE your pre-booked session with your booking reference, reason for amendment and the date you'd like the booking moved to in order for us to process this. Please allow up to 48 hours for any ticket amendments to be actioned.
